1 Who We Are

QuizWing (“we“, “us“, or “our“) is a free educational platform based in Pakistan. We operate the website quizwing.com and the free Android mobile application QuizWing — MCQ & Past Papers (package pk.com.quizwing) available on Google Play. We provide free MCQ preparation content for competitive exams including CSS, PMS, PPSC, FPSC, MDCAT, ECAT, NTS and One Paper government job tests.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or use our Android app, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using QuizWing, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2 Information We Collect

We collect two types of information: information you provide voluntarily, and information collected automatically when you browse our site or use our app.

a) Information You Provide

QuizWing does not require registration on either the website or the Android app. However, if you contact us via the contact form, email, or WhatsApp, we may collect:

• Your name (if you share it)
• Your email address
• The content of your message or query

This information is used solely to respond to your message and is not added to any marketing list.

b) Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, our servers and third-party analytics tools may automatically collect:

• Your IP address (in anonymised or partial form)
• Browser type and version
• Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)
• Operating system
• Pages you visit and time spent on each page
• Referring website (how you found us)
• Geographic region (country or city level)

When you use the Android app, Google services automatically collect anonymous technical data (see Section 6 — Mobile App).

3 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To operate and improve QuizWing — understand which topics are most used, fix technical issues, and improve content quality on both the website and the app.
• To respond to your messages — if you contact us via the form or email, we use your contact details to reply.
• To serve relevant advertisements — we use Google AdSense on the website and Google AdMob in the Android app (see Sections 5 and 6).
• To send push notifications — within the Android app, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to notify you about new MCQs and exam updates.
• To monitor platform performance — page load speeds, error rates, app crashes and uptime using anonymised technical data.
• To comply with legal obligations — if required by Pakistani law or a valid legal request.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or any purpose that is not listed above.

4 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. QuizWing’s website uses cookies for the following purposes (cookies do not apply to the Android app — see Section 6 for app-specific tracking):

Most browsers allow you to control or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of our site. You can also opt out of Google’s use of cookies for advertising by visiting adssettings.google.com.

5 Google AdSense & Advertising (Website)

Our website uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense is operated by Google LLC and uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads that are relevant to your interests.

• Google may use the DoubleClick cookie to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites on the internet.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to QuizWing and/or other sites.
• We do not have access to or control over the cookies or tracking technologies used by Google AdSense.
• QuizWing receives revenue from these advertisements, which helps us keep the platform free for all users.

6 Mobile App (QuizWing for Android)

In addition to our website, QuizWing operates a free Android mobile application available on Google Play (package pk.com.quizwing). The app does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or share your name, email, phone, location, photos, or contacts. The following limited, anonymous data is handled by the app through Google services:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Token — a random, anonymous token assigned by Google to your device so we can send push notifications about new MCQs and exam updates. It is not linked to your identity and is generated locally on your device.
• Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous crash reports (device model, Android version, stack trace) sent automatically when the app crashes, so we can fix bugs. No personal data is included.
• Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage statistics (screens viewed, button taps, app open count) used to improve features. No personal identifiers are collected.
• Google AdMob Advertising ID — a resettable, non-permanent identifier provided by your Android device that Google uses to show in-app advertisements. You can reset this ID at any time under Settings → Privacy → Ads on your device.

The mobile app relies on the following Google services, each governed by Google’s own privacy policy:

• Firebase (Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics)
• Google AdMob
• Google Privacy Policy

You can uninstall the QuizWing app at any time to stop all data collection by the app. To reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation, open your Android device → Settings → Privacy → Ads. To disable push notifications, go to your phone’s app settings for QuizWing and turn off notification access.

7 Third-Party Links

QuizWing pages and the Android app may contain links to external websites — such as Wikipedia, official government bodies (for example fpsc.gov.pk, ppsc.gop.pk), or educational institutions — for reference and citation purposes. These external sites are not operated by us.

We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit through a link on QuizWing. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party sites.

8 Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We may share limited data only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: We work with Google (Analytics, AdSense, AdMob, Firebase) and our web-hosting provider. These parties access data only as needed to deliver their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by Pakistani law, court order, or a valid legal process by a governmental authority.
• Protection of rights: We may disclose information to protect the rights, safety, or property of QuizWing, our users, or the public.

In all other cases, your data stays with us and is not shared with any external party.

9 Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary:

• Contact form submissions — retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Website analytics data — retained by Google Analytics per their data retention settings (default 26 months). We use anonymised, aggregated views only.
• App analytics & crash data — retained by Firebase per Google’s standard retention. We use only aggregate views.
• FCM tokens — kept while the app is installed; deleted automatically when you uninstall the app or clear app data.
• Server logs — retained for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting purposes, then automatically deleted.

If you contact us and request deletion of your message or data, we will honour that request within 30 days.

10 Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

11 Children’s Privacy

QuizWing is designed for students preparing for competitive exams. While many of our users may be 16 years of age or older, our platform (website and Android app) does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

We do not require registration or personal information to access our content. If we become aware that a child under 13 has submitted personal data to us (e.g., via a contact form), we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at info@quizwing.com.

12 Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include:

• HTTPS encryption on all pages of QuizWing
• End-to-end encryption between the Android app and Google’s Firebase / AdMob servers
• Regular security updates to our web server, mobile app, and platform
• Limiting access to data to authorised personnel only

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with QuizWing has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

13 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of QuizWing (website or app) after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If we make significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users through a notice on our homepage or via an in-app message.
